Born and raised in Southern Utah, Brooks was always taught the value of education and importance of life-long learning. Evident in his practices, the pursuit of knowledge has been one of his greatest passions/interests. He also enjoys serving others and amplified this while serving a two year mission in Virginia for his church. Brooks completed his Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Southern Utah University and later went on to receive several Master or Science degrees in Criminal Justice, Emergency
